Why is my printer not printing? (Paper jam, no connection, offline)

  1. Check for Paper Jam
    1. Turn off the printer
    2. Open the paper tray and remove any stuck paper.
    3. Make sure paper is loaded properly.
    4. Close the tray and turn it back on.
  2. Check Power and Cables
    1. Make sure the printer is turned on (lights should be on).
    2. If using USB, check that the cable is properly plugged in.
    3. If using Wi-Fi or network, check the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  3. Check Printer Status
    1. Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click your printer → See what’s printing.
    3. Click Printer → make sure Use Printer Offline is unchecked.
    4. Clear any documents stuck in the list.
    5. Try printing a test page.
  4. Restart Everything
    1. Turn off your printer and computer.
    2. Wait a few seconds, then turn them back on.
    3. Try printing again.
  5. If still not Working
    1. Submit an IT Ticket.
