Why did my mouse or keyboard stop working?

- For Wireless Mouse: If it's wireless, the #1 cause is a dead battery. Try replacing the batteries or recharging it. The #2 cause is a lost connection; try unplugging and replugging the small USB receiver (dongle).
- For Wired Mouse:
- Try a different USB port. The port you were using might have a problem.
- Test it on another computer. This will tell you if the problem is with the mouse/keyboard or your computer.
- Reboot your computer. It's a simple step, but it often fixes temporary driver glitches.
